Nu Skin Enterprises Unveils Customized Anti-Aging System

ageLOC Me stands out in the market with its unique properties. It combines Nu Skin’s most advanced anti-aging skincare formulas with a smart delivery device. An app-based assessment takes into account skincare needs, environmental factors, and personal preferences to determine a specific set of products from almost 2,000 combinations. The smart device weaves multiple serums together in microlayers before application, which has been shown to provide more even distribution and better absorption than mixing by hand.

The realization of this design involved collaboration with global leaders in engineering, design, manufacturing, and packaging. The challenge was to develop a device small enough to sit non-intrusively on a vanity, capable of weaving multiple serums together in microlayers for greater efficacy, and able to dispense them upside down without dripping. This smart device knows the precise amount and combination of products to dispense morning and night, helping users maintain their daily regimen.

Users interact with ageLOC Me through a skin assessment. By answering a few questions about skincare concerns, environmental factors, and personal preferences, users receive a customized set of products from almost 2,000 combinations. The device dispenses a precise dose of moisturizer followed by a precise dose of anti-aging serum. Users can retake the assessment if their needs change or to adapt to location, season, etc.

The ageLOC Me project was ideated in 2011 in Santa Monica and publicly introduced in October 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The development of this unique smart device pushed the boundaries of technology, combining different components to work together. Extensive collaboration and testing among Nu Skin and its partners led to the successful development of the final design.

ageLOC Me is protected by four major patents for its design and function, with several more pending. This recognition of its innovative design and function is a testament to its uniqueness in the market. It was awarded Platinum in A' Beauty, Personal Care and Cosmetic Products Design Award in 2016, recognizing its world-class, exceptional, and highly innovative design that contributes to societal wellbeing.
